We are all keen to attend the gym, get in shape and become the best we can be. More often than not we neglect a very important topic REST & RECOVERY. By not allowing for this we reduce our overall gains, this would also lead to compromising our normal day to day lives caused by tiredness, brought on by over training. This more often than not would result in injury and ill health.

Signs of Over Training

There are a number of signs of over training, so we thought it would be good to highlight a few that we at Dynamix feel would be of benefit to all.

An important point is to be aware of when you are suffering from over training as this will result in serious injury. Examples of this are ligament damage, tendon damage and muscle tears. The final outcome will be damage to your overall health and wellbeing.

By consuming a quality diet, getting enough sleep and using good supplementation can help to defer these negative effects.

One of the most important requirements for all is to ensure good levels of Hydration; this should be sourced from water whenever possible.

Another negative effect from training is diminished sodium (salt) levels in our bodies due to the loss of body fluids caused by sweating. Signs of this are muscles cramps and headaches, action should be taken as this could result in muscle tears or more serious injury due to the muscles becoming dehydrated.
